TL;DR
PETSPLUSMAG.com published a roundup of new products for pets, including a formulated diet for freshwater ornamental shrimp and a lightweight carrier described as airline-friendly. The list also includes dog and cat treats, toys, beds and a skin cleanser; product benefits and safety statements are claims from manufacturers, not independent evaluations.
PETSPLUSMAG.com has published a roundup of new pet products, including Hikari’s formulated diet for freshwater ornamental shrimp and Moderna’s lightweight Moona carrier, which the maker describes as airline-friendly. The report also lists new treats, toys, beds and supplements for dogs, cats, birds, horses and backyard poultry, with product details and retail prices supplied by the manufacturers.
The shrimp product, Hikari Shrimp Splenditos, is sold in a 0.70-ounce package for $4.99. The company says its pellets are designed to generate beneficial microbes, biodegrade without rotting and provide algae and seaweed as sources of plant protein. Hikari also says the pellets develop a fine biofilm that small or baby shrimp can consume. The report presents these as product features and benefits claimed by the maker; it does not provide independent feeding or performance results.
Moderna’s Moona carrier is made from recyclable plastic and has ventilation, an anti-slip bottom tray, tie-wrap slots and a metal-lock door. It comes in denim blue or olive green, in XS and S sizes, and is listed at $27 to $40. The report calls it airline-friendly, but does not identify airline approvals or give carrier acceptance rules for particular airlines. Other featured items include BetterBone’s plant-based dog chew ($7.99-$15.99), Charlee Bear’s first cat treat, according to the company ($6.99), and a Tuffy eggplant-shaped dog toy ($17.99).
The roundup also includes Arctic Chews fish treats from Ethical Products, PetREGEN supplements from Go Natural Pets, faux-fur beds from WEN Pets, dog snuffle mats from luvmyfido, a wound and skin cleanser from ChewMate, Peak Beak dried black soldier fly larvae and Katie’s Bumpers’ fire-hose retrieving toy. Prices range from $5.99 for some fish treats to $399 for the largest listed bed. The article identifies maker websites and contact details, but provides no independent product testing, sales figures or comparison with competing products.
A Broad Range of Pet Needs
The assortment gives pet retailers and owners a snapshot of products aimed at different animals and uses, from aquarium feeding and travel to enrichment, grooming and rest. For shrimp keepers, the new diet is specifically presented for freshwater ornamental shrimp, while the Moona carrier targets owners seeking a portable option for small pets.
Product descriptions can help readers identify features and prices, but the roundup is not a comparative review. Claims about health, nutrition, durability, safety or performance come from manufacturers in the supplied material. Buyers may need to check packaging and manufacturer guidance before choosing a product, especially where animal size, species or intended use affects suitability.

What the Product Roundup Covers
The PETSPLUSMAG.com report is structured as a new-product listing, with brief descriptions, sizes, prices and company contact information. It spans companion animals and other pets: several entries are for dogs, while the shrimp diet, cat treats, multi-species supplement and bird treats address other categories.
The publication date was not included in the supplied report. The material also does not say whether every item is newly available for purchase, when distribution began, or which retailers carry each product. The list should be read as a manufacturer-informed roundup rather than a report on independently verified launches.
“The pellets biodegrade without rotting, turning microbes and their byproducts into nutritious food.”
— Hikari, as described in the PETSPLUSMAG.com report

Testing and Airline Rules Remain Unspecified
The report does not include independent testing of the products or evidence supporting health, nutrition and performance claims. It also does not specify the publication date, launch dates, retail availability or whether the listed prices are suggested retail prices.
For Moona, “airline-friendly” is not the same as confirmation that every airline will accept the carrier. The roundup supplies dimensions but no airline-by-airline requirements, pet-size limits or details about whether the carrier is intended for cabin or checked travel. The product entry also gives the door’s wire spacing as 1.9 by 1.9 cm, but does not explain how that measurement relates to airline approval.

Check Availability and Product Guidance
Readers interested in a product can use the maker contacts listed in the original roundup to ask about availability, full specifications and use instructions. Carrier buyers should confirm current rules directly with their airline before travel, including permitted dimensions and whether the animal and carrier qualify for the intended cabin or cargo arrangement.
For products making nutrition or health-related claims, the supplied report offers no independent evaluation. Owners can review the product label and consult an appropriate veterinarian about whether a food, treat or supplement fits their animal’s needs. No further testing results, retailer listings or launch updates were included in the source material.
